Azim Hashim Premji (born 24 July 1945) is an Indian business tycooninvestorengineer, and philanthropist, who is the chairman of Wipro Limited. He is informally known as the Czar of the Indian IT Industry. He was responsible for guiding Wipro through four decades of diversification and growth to finally emerge as one of the global leaders in the software industry.

Azim Premji's Wipro Group has announced to spend Rs 1125 crore in dealing with Corona, but the group has not asked to donate this amount to PM Cares Fund. The group will spend this amount through its foundation. It will be implemented by a team of 1600 employees of Azim Premji Foundation.

On the plea of ​​PM Modi to donate for the war from Corona, the corporate world has come out openly and many thousands of crores of rupees have been raised in the PM Cares Fund. Meanwhile, Azim Premji's Wipro group has announced to spend Rs 1125 crore in dealing with Corona, but the group has not asked to donate this amount to the PM Cares Fund. The group will spend this amount through its foundation.


What did the company say 
The Wipro Group issued a statement on Wednesday, stating, "Wipro Limited, Wipro Enterprises and Azim premji Foundation will together spend Rs 1125 crore in view of the unprecedented health and humanitarian crisis arising out of Kovid — 19. This money will be used to increase humanitarian aid, health facilities in the affected areas. It will be implemented by a team of 1600 employees of Azim Premji Foundation.
According to the company, out of this Rs 1125 crore, 100 crore rupees, Wipro Limited, 25 crore rupees will be given by Wipro Enterprises and 1000 crore rupees by Azim Premji Foundation.

A new donation fund has been created in the name of PM
Significantly, on Saturday, PM Modi announced the formation of PM Cares Fund to help fight the corona virus and called on the countrymen to donate more and more to combat the corona.

Contested race
After this, there was competition from corporate to film stars to donate to this fund. The Tata group announced a total donation of Rs 1500 crore. Reliance Industries has announced to give 500 crore rupees in it. Apart from this, Adani Group, Vedanta Group, Paytm, Jindal Group, etc. have announced to donate hundreds of crores of rupees in it, if you talk about big corporate groups.

False reports of Azim Premji giving large sums of money to this fund were going viral on social media, but now the company has issued a statement that it will make it clear that it will work on its level to compete with Corona and spend a large amount of money.

SHRIRAM NAVMI THE BRITH DAY OF PRABHU SHRIRAM


Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shriram was born on Tretayuga on Navami date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, hence every year celebrates this date as Ram Navami or Rama Janmotsav. This year Ram Navami will be celebrated on Thursday, April 02. On this day, the festival of Ram Navami will be celebrated with full enthusiasm throughout the country including Ayodhya. Lord Shri Hari Vishnu took Rama incarnation at the house of Dasaratha, the Maharaja of Ayodhya at Tretayuga for the slaughter of Ravana. His elder wife Kaushalya gave birth to Rama. Ram Navami Puja Muhurta
This year, the Navami date of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month is starting from 03:40 AM on Thursday, April 02, 2020, which is 03:43 AM on Friday, 03 April 2020. On this day, auspicious time of Ram Navami midday is being made for 02 hours 30 minutes. On this day, you can celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Rama in auspicious time from 11:10 in the morning to 01:40 minutes.

Ram Navami fast and method of worship
On Ramnavami, first of all, get up early in the morning and take a bath and wear clean clothes. After this, offer Roli tilak to the idols of Lord Rama, Mother Sita and Laxman ji, then after offering rice, flowers, bells and conch to Lord Shri Rama, duly worship Lord Rama. Chant the mantras of Shri Ram, read Ramayana and recite Ramcharitmanas. In the end, perform the aarti of everyone. On this day, swing the shrimp to Lord Shri Ram and donate wheat and millet to a poor person or a Brahmin.

Retire from bathing in the morning of Navami date and wear clean clothes. Then install the idol, idol or picture of Lord Shri Ram at the place of worship. Lord Rama is called the seventh avatar of Vishnu. Not only this, Lord Shri Ram is considered a symbol of dignity. He is known as Purushottam, the best man. It is believed that Lord Rama was born on the day of Ram Navami. Therefore special poojas and havan are done in homes on this day.

On this day Chaitra Navratri also ends and mother Durga is bid farewell. Navratri will be celebrated on Dashami date on 2 April. Fasting and havan of Navami will be done on Thursday 02 April. On Thursday, Navami Tithi will be celebrated on the birth anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra ji. Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya under King Dasharatha. Reciting the Ramcharit Manas on this day is also considered very good. On this day, Bhagwan is bathed with panchamrit.

Special events are held on this day in Ayodhya, Rameswaram and Sitamarhi Bihar, but this time all shrines are closed due to corona virus and lockdown. Lord Rama had spent fourteen years of his exile and during this time he established religion by killing Ravana. It is believed that keeping fast on this day brings all kinds of happiness and prosperity in life.

Utkal Divas The Odisha Day



Utkal Divas is also known as Odisha Day, Odisha Dibas and Utkala Dibas is celebrated on 1 April in Odisha in the memory of the formation of the state as a separate state out of Bihar and Odisha province on 1 April 1936.

In 1567, the Mughal conquered costal odisha. The last hindu emperor of odisha Gajapati Mukund Dev was defeated and killed in battle of Gohiratkiri. The coastal plain of odisha from Medinipur to Rajahmundry came under Mughal rule. It was broadly divide into six part as Jaleswar Sarkar, Bhadrak sarkar, Kalinga Dandapat and Rajahmundry Sarkar or Godavari Province.


After Effects of 1567, Odhisa’s  central, northern, western and southern hilly areas ruled independently by Hindu kings. The Nizam of hyderabad occupied the area between Rajahmundry to Srikakulam in 16th century. The Mendipur was attached to Bengal province in 18th century. The remaining part of coastal odisha, where subsequently ceded to the Maratha Empire in 1751.The British occupied the Northern Circars comprising the southern coast of odisha as result of Carnatic wars in the earlier 1760 and incorporate them into Madras Presidency gradually.

In 1803, the British under British East India Company annexed the Maratha province of odisha after the second Anglo-Maratha War. The northern and western districts of odisha were incorporated into Bengal presidency.

Following famine and floods in 1866, large scale irrigation projects were undertaken in last half of 19th century. The coastal section was separated from Bengal and made into the province of Bihar and odisha in 1912, in response to local agitation for separate state for odia-speaking people.

In 1936, Bihar and odisha were split into separate provinces. Thus after along period of struggle the odia people got re-united after centuries of political separation. The district of Ganjam was transferred from madras presidency to the new province of Odisha on 1 April 1936.


On 1 April 1936, a long cherished dream of odia people and their leader like Madhusudan Das, Maharaj Krushna, Chnadra Gajapati, Pandit  Nilakantha das, Bhubanananda Das and many others came true. From the time onwards people of Odisha celebrate the day 1 April as Utkal divas or Odisha day.

On 1st April 1936, the new province of odisha came into existence on linguistic basis during the British Rule in India with Sir John Austin Hubbak as the first Governor.

After Independence, the area of odisha almost doubled and the population was increased by third by the addition of 24 former princely state in the union of India. Since then 1 april has been celebrated by all odia people as “UTKAL DIWAS”.


Odisha Dibas  or  Utkala Dibas is celebrated every year on 1 April all over Odisha. Thousands of shops and Jhankis make this festival more beautiful. There are competitions arranged by popular local politicians like fireworks competition. One can enjoy these fireworks displays which make the sky all the more stunning. On that day all across the country, the family of Odia arranges different cultural programs like a sing-song program. Utkala Dibas the day of remembrance for all Odia helps everybody to be united.
